Meet the Team


Katie

Katie graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Birmingham University in 1999 and has worked extensively in both the NHS and private practice.  She undertook her postgraduate training in Pilates with the APPI (The Australian Physiotherapy  & Pilates Institute) and has taught Pilates classes across The Midlands since 2013.

As a Physiotherapist she has treated musculoskeletal conditions for many years so whether you have osteoporosis, back ache, neck ache, joint injury, recovering from a sports injury or just want to safely improve your general core strength, balance and flexibility she can advise you on exercises to suit you. 

Katie currently works in the NHS as a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health. This includes treating antenatal and postnatal ladies, issues of bladder control, bowel control, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain or supporting ladies before and after gynaecological, bowel or breast cancer surgery.

Outside of work Katie loves the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Emma

Emma qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2018 with Body Control Pilates and has taught classes extensively across Warwickshire.

Since then she has completed accredited courses in teaching specialised Pilates to people with osteoporosis, other health conditions and Pilates during pregnancy. In 2023 she achieved a Level 4 award in instructing Pilates matwork. Her classes include a mix of balance, strength and flexibility training that is suitable for all levels.

Outside of Pilates Emma loves attracting bees to her garden with blue flowers, and curling up on the sofa with a book and a cat.
